There aren’t many VR Arcades in the UK for us to easily follow given industry procedures when it comes to re-opening within our Government’s guidelines. As a small family run business, both Mike and I have always enjoyed the personal relationship we have with our customers, and we care what you think. We want to work with you so we can all have fun without having to worry about safety. So please, get in touch with us if you have any questions or suggestions about our re-opening.

The changes we are introducing are focused on managing and reducing the number of people in the arcade at any time. We want a maximum of 12 customers in the arcade at any time – or fewer if possible, and to do that we are making some changes.

For the time being, you will only be able to play if you have previously booked. You can book up to 4 hours in advance through our website, and if you set up an account, you can amend your session or cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before.

Although our arcade isn’t very big, we are fortunate that we have some advantages over other places. The wall down the centre of the arcade and the station’s play area already provide distancing measures between people. To make it easier to distance from other customers, for the time being, we are not going to allow customers to share a station and we request that a maximum of one non-playing observer per player is present during the session. This means a maximum of 2 people in the arcade per booked station. We have also increased the allocated time between bookings from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. This means you are not likely to bump into other customers before or after your session.

From Friday 24th July we require customers to wear face masks while in the arcade. This is not required for players whilst using a headset as they will not be near any other people during that time.

CHILDREN'S PARTIES AND GROUPS: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU

For the time being, we request that a group booking of all six stations is for 6 players only and that you only bring a minimum of extra people – no more than 6, making a total maximum of 12 together. We are also suspending allowing parties to use our table area for food afterwards.

We will start with reduced opening hours and see how things go from there. Our new opening hours are 14:00 to 19:00 Tuesday to Friday and 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays. On Sundays and Mondays, we will be closed.

We provide hand sanitiser and disposable face masks if you don’t have your own, and our toilet will be available for customers to use.

 

At a glance…

• Bookings only, no walk-ins allowed

• You can book up to 4 hours before an available session. For example, you would be able to book a 2 pm slot on the same day before 10 am that morning.

• You can cancel for a full refund or change your booking up to 24 hours before. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us directly and we’ll see how we can help.

• Only one station per person, no sharing a headset.

•Only one non-playing person to accompany each player.

• Increasing the allotted time between bookings from 15 minutes to 30 minutes.

• From Fri 24th Jul face masks are to be worn by all customers – apart from while in the headset as you are already distanced from others.

• Children’s Parties and Groups:
– A maximum of 6 players for the allotted time
– No food or drink to be eaten on-site afterwards

• Reduced opening hours: Tues-Fri 14:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-18:00.

• Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

• Disposable face masks and hand sanitiser is available.

• Our toilet open to customers.
